About the Millennium Society
The Millennium Society is a likeminded group of predominantly 30-, 40-, and 50-something Vail Valley professionals who banded together to socialize and philanthropize. We realize our days of skiing hard and partying harder may slowly be fading, but we don’t think that means ski-town life as we know it is over. The Millennium Society is a way to keep having fun but at the same time increasingly give back to this great community.
We raise funds through membership dues and special events, which have included house parties, ski days, swanky mountain lunches, and our signature event, an annual fall fundraiser event. Past events have featured the likes of Big Head Todd and the Monsters and Blues Traveler. Proceeds from the annual events benefit the Steadman Hawkins Research Foundation, the Youth Foundation and a third organization designated in advance of each event.
Above all, the Millennium Society is about having a good time while promoting philanthropic ideals among Vail’s “generation next”.
